This role will support the existing staff within the Client Services in dealing with all calls, tasks and queries from advisers, clients and colleagues for a busy independent financial adviser organisation.

In Focus are fully authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, they deliver high quality advice with a professional and friendly service.

Their highly experienced advisers hold a wide variety of professional qualifications.  They have all acquired the minimum Diploma 4 in Regulated Financial Planning and many have attained additional specialised qualifications.

As Independent Financial Advisers, They are free to advise on financial products available from all providers.

Duties will include:

Key Responsibilities will include using a wide variety of systems to:

  • Build and maintain relationships with Advisers and internal support teams
  • Correspond with clients and Advisers in response to queries via letter or task
  • Liaise with product providers to investigate and resolve queries
  • Submit New Business Applications to product providers
  • Assist in the management and maintenance of the Fund Monitoring Service
  • Assist in the management and reporting of the Pension Performance Review service
  • Answer telephone calls and direct to relevant areas
  • Manage incoming faxes and direct to relevant areas
  • Open, scan and upload the post daily to I drive client files and Intelligent Office
  • Manage all Letters of Authority and Liaise with Product Providers to ensure information is returned within an acceptable timescale
  • Maintain client files to an acceptable standard
  • Complete all tasks within an acceptable service standard

In addition to the above, additional responsibilities will include:

  • When applicable, producing Management information reports
  • When applicable, assist with the development and implementation of new procedures
  • Recognise the importance of working together to maximise team, department and company results
  • Ensure the impression you create is professional, courteous and efficient at all times and in all forms of communication
  • Assist Senior Management in all tasks and requests
  • Attend training to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills
  • Assist in the management of own personal development

Skills required:

Applicants must be keen to work within a professional, yet friendly and family orientated office environment in an Administration capacity. You must be able to demonstrate excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.

  • Experience of handling sensitive/confidential information
  • Experience of working to tight deadlines
  • Experience of using all Microsoft applications
  • Experience of using databases

Qualifications required:

  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs, including Maths, English & ICT, A*-C grade / Grade 4 or above
