An exciting opportunity has become available within Flomatik’s Operations Team, as part of a continued expansion programme. We are therefore looking for someone to join our team based in the headquarters in Port Solent where we run the company's operational processes. The team is a busy and vibrant group, and due to the nature of our business most contact with the staff is by telephone, Skype and email.

Flomatik is the Professional Services subsidiary of Teleste, a leading broadband equipment manufacturer.

Duties will include:

Operations

  • Travel requests and bookings including hotels, flights and taxis
  • Booking collections, passing invoices for courier collections
  • Processing/filing purchase orders and invoices
  • Processing timesheets for payroll and project reports
  • Matching expense claims and processing for payment
  • Assisting events coordination
  • Front of House including answering the telephone and taking messages
  • General office activities – post/lunches/stationery/Meeting Room Bookings

HR

  • New starter/leaver administration
  • Training administration and scheduling
  • Holiday administration, calculations and reminders
  • Maintaining employee records
  • Chaser emails – H&S, ltd comp insurance, signed contracts

Other information:

  • This company will be moving offices to Central Fareham in the New Year, 2019
  • During the first 15 months you will complete:
    • Business Administration Apprenticeship Standard, Level 3

Skills required:

  • Good written English
  • Good telephone skills
  • Competent IT user, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook

Personal qualities:

  • Excellent work ethic
  • Pro- active attitude
  • Willing to learn

Qualifications required:

  • GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English grade C/4 and above are preferred but not essential for this role
