This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Apprentice to join the Project and administration team within a young and virant new venture. You will learn how to organise and oversee construction procedures and ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner.

S&R Interiors Limited is a specialist architectural joinery contractor. We offer complete project supply and installation fit-out covering internal and external timber joinery, glass and glazing, metal works, tiling and French polishing services.

S&R Interiors Limited is controlled and operated by Directors Ryan Blunsom and Sam Doran. The Directors have worked together at senior management and operated successfully within the UK Construction industry over the past two decades.

Services offered are customized to UK Main (or Principle) Contractors. We also work directly with clients, developers and appointed management agents on behalf of foreign enterprises. Our operation covers London and the South East of England

Duties will include:

This position entails completing a Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship Standard and the directors are keen to meet with individuals who possess a real technical aptitude whom they are able to train and develop to become successful within project administration.

We are looking for an Apprentice Construction Project Administrator to learn how to plan and supervise a wide range of construction projects from start to finish

You will learn about all construction methodologies and procedures and will eventually be able to coordinate a team of sub-contractors to achieve the best results. The ideal candidate will have an analytical mind and great organisational skills.

  • You will learn how to collaborate with site managers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the project
  • You will learn how to determine, liaise and purchase resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations
  • You will learn how to plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met
  • You will learn how to supervise the work of site staff and give them guidance when needed
  • You will learn how to evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports
  • You will learn how to ensure adherence to all health and safety, environmental and quality standards and report any issues
  • In addition to your Business NVQ you will also receive training in such as AutoCad, health and safety etc.

  • During the 15 months of this programme you will be completing an Business Administration Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard
