An Apprenticeship which develops in all areas of business and office activities. The role sits in the Human Resources function and will support in areas of administration and daily office co-ordination.

Flight Data Services provides Flight Data Analysis incorporating Flight Data Monitoring (FDM) and Flight Operations Quality Assurance (FOQA) as a full analysis service to aircraft operators worldwide.

Their innovative, web-based Flight Data Analysis platform, Flight Data Connect, provides aircraft operators with valuable safety insight that is easy to use and delivers detailed reporting, statistics and visualization directly to your safety department within minutes of upload.

Flight Data Connect currently supports over 130 operators, with over 1,500 aircraft, processing over 4,000 flights per day.

Their flight safety centers in the UK, USA and Singapore offer 24-hour time zone coverage, ensuring an enhanced service with dedicated regional resources

Duties will include:

  • Support the HR Assistant/PA and HOD HR with daily tasks
  • The role will support your knowledge of the organisation, key stakeholders, relevant regulations, policies, business fundamentals, processes and external environment factors.
  • Place purchase orders with suppliers
  • Greet visitors to the office and answer telephones
  • Responsible for postage and shipping
  • Arranging meetings and lunches
  • Maintain office stationary, supplies and stationary cupboard
  • Keep notice boards updated
  • Proactively support any administrative requirements
  • Assist with Human Resource activities
  • Ensure office facilities are well maintained including confidential waste, office supplies etc.
  • Organising of familiarisation flights with airline partners
  • Supporting DSE Assessments
  • Facilities administration
  • Respond to daily enquiries

The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organisation and the overall business objectives of the organisation.

Other information:

  • The company is based in a remote location with limited transport links.
  • Throughout the duration of the Apprenticeship you will be required to the PETA training centre in Cosham for off-the- job training. 
  • The majority of training will be completed with your employer at your place of work.
    • Business Administration Apprenticeship Standard Level 3
    • Functional Skills in English and Maths if required
