Wightlink

Duties will include:

  • To use various systems to maintain and monitor GDPR compliance
  • Assist the GDPR Administrator with audits of the offices and ports both on the mainland and the Island
  • Carry out research as and when requested
  • Assist with GDPR e-training creation, training and awareness campaigns
  • Assist with GDPR presentation creation
  • Generate emails and chase for responses
  • Assist with the management of valuable lost property
  • Respond to internal and external requests for information concerning GDPR and lost property
  • Record and document specific information
  • Maintain files and records
  • Assist the finance team when requested to do so by the Finance Operations Manager and ensure that all information is administered correctly onto the system
  • To maintain a high standard of individual performance in terms of accuracy of data input/ analysis and effective written/oral communication skills
  • Any other administration tasks.

Skills required:

  • Basic knowledge of proprietary computer packages, with particular emphasis on MS word and excel
  • Customer Care Skills
  • Organisational Skills
  • Awareness of General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
  • Able to communicate clearly
  • Interest in planning
  • Interest in the overall running of a busy operational site
  • Detail focused and comfortable working in a large office environment
  • Good timekeeping and the ability to work to deadlines
