An Apprenticeship which develops in all areas of business and office activities. The role sits in the Human Resources function and will support in areas of administration and daily office co-ordination.

Autism Hampshire was founded by the late Mr and Mrs Philip White MBE and a group of local parents of children with autism in Southampton in the mid-1960’s.

Over the years the charity has developed and delivers high quality services that meet the diverse needs of people on the autism spectrum in Hampshire and the surrounding area. We provide autism focused Training, Domiciliary Care, Supported Living services, Mentoring and a Community Access Team that responds to an average of 12,000 requests for help each year.

Through our understanding of autism and the impact it has on the individual, we work with people to help them develop skills and strategies to gain greater control over their lives.

Autism Hampshire 

Duties will include:

  • Support the HR Assistant/PA and HOD HR with daily tasks
  • The role will support your knowledge of the organisation, key stakeholders, relevant regulations, policies, business fundamentals, processes and external environment factors.
  • Place purchase orders with suppliers
  • Greet visitors to the office and answer telephones
  • Responsible for postage and shipping
  • Arranging meetings and lunches
  • Maintain office stationary, supplies and stationary cupboard
  • Keep notice boards updated
  • Proactively support any administrative requirements
  • Assist with Human Resource activities
  • Ensure office facilities are well maintained including confidential waste, office supplies etc.
  • Organising of familiarisation flights with airline partners
  • Supporting DSE Assessments
  • Facilities administration
  • Respond to daily enquiries
