This is fabulous position for someone wishing to break into administration within a busy and proactive sales environment. Working alongside our friendly and vibrant sales team, we are looking for a committed individual who is keen to learn. Someone who is a great communicator, has an excellent eye for detail and really wants an opportunity to prove themselves and succeed.

As one of the largest independent flower importers in the UK we supply 1000's of varieties of fresh flowers and foliage from countries all over the world along with seasonal British flowers. We service the UK wholesale, multiple packers and Internet business markets, along with many customers in Europe and the Rest of the World

Duties will include:

  • General sales administration duties including; data inputting, filing, faxing, scanning,
  • photocopying, responding to emails
  • Organising meetings
  • Taking minutes during meetings
  • Interacting with clients either on the phone or by email
  • Taking phone messages and passing them on
  • Preparing documents by printing, scanning and copying
  • Keeping well-organised files and records of business activity
  • Ordering office stationery and other supplies
  • Keeping computer databases up to date
  • Preparing meeting rooms by setting up chairs and getting refreshments
  • Participating in office meetings and taking meeting minutes
  • Checking invoices and pro forma invoices to ensure accuracy
  • Verify and document goods received invoices
  • Raise queries and claims with suppliers on goods received
  • Updating in-house software to reflect accurate goods received and customer orders
  • Requirement to raise or escalate any anomalies/issues/errors noticed
  • Ad hoc duties as required

Other information:

  • The company is based in a location with minimal public transport therefore this position would suit applicants who drive and have their own vehicle.

Skills required:

  • Highly computer literate, especially in Microsoft office applications
  • Good communication skills, face to face, on the telephone, in writing or on digital platforms
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy

Qualifications required:

  • GCSE Maths and English grade A*-C / 4-9 is preferred but not essential
