Clameg Construction are a Portsmouth based company established since 1999 that provides building services throughout Southern Hampshire, West Sussex and parts of Surrey. As an NHBC registered builder, our customers can expect that highest standards of construction and site practice. We undertake design and build projects with an emphasis on sustainability, or refurbishment of existing buildings to the highest standard. Duties will include:

We are looking for an extremely motivated, pleasant and polite addition to the office. Customer service is a very important part of this role. The customer always comes first and therefore an individual who can deal with awkward situations is a must. The role will involve a great deal of responsibility after a period of time. Entries and booking for surveys will also be entered into diaries after the period of training. In summary: this role will appeal to a career driven individual who would like to be at the forefront of the office.

  • Answering the telephone in a professional manner
  • General office housekeeping
  • Booking appointments with new and existing customers
  • Insurance work
  • Scanning and filing paperwork
  • Uploading photos and creating detailed portfolios for clients and customers
  • Taking and managing tenant enquiries
  • Admin support for a variety of ongoing building and maintenance projects
  • New enquiry management
  • Spreadsheet management

Skills required:

  • PC literate
  • Ability to use Microsoft, including Excel and Word
  • Good time management skills; able to manage a busy workload and prioritise

Personal qualities:

  • Polite and nicely spoken
  • Can use own initiative
  • Ambitious
  • Must be organised with a methodical approach to work
  • Enjoys a challenge

Qualifications required:

  • GCSE’s A*-C / 9-4 grades in English and Maths desirable
  • A good level of education would be a distinct advantage to show that you are capable of learning and prepared to work hard to achieve

  • You will complete a Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship standard within the 15 months of this program

Future Prospects:

  • After a period of settlement within the role we could be looking to give the employee more involvement and responsibility
  • A permanent full-time role is available following successful completion of the apprenticeship programme
  • Future prospects could include sole responsibility of the day-to-day running of the office
