As an Apprentice Accounts Assistant Administration, you ill undertake a diverse range of Admin and Accounts duties to ensure an efficient service is received by customers and partners. As part of your development, you will be required to learn the different job roles within the department.

CURA Homecare specialise in supplying high quality, reliable customer care & after sales maintenance services to national house builders, retirement villages, care homes and student accommodation across the UK.

Duties will include:

  • Processing invoices – payable and receivable
  • Bank reconciliation
  • All aspects of sales and purchase ledger
  • Ass aspects of credit control
  • General office duties such as dealing with correspondence both email and letters, data entry using Markus (Internal Database)
  • Filing and data entry
  • Use of Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Use of Quickbooks to produce documents such as invoices to be sent to customers both email and post
  • Deal with queries from customers and internal employees
  • Answer the telephone and communicates effectively with customers and employees

Skills required:

  • Excellent organizational and customer care skills
  • Excellent social and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Be able to demonstrate your ability to work as part of a team, but also work on your own to deal with day to day tasks and help push the company forward
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel are essential
  • Attention to detail
  • Interest in numbers and accounting

Qualifications required:

  • GCSE Maths Grades A* - C or 9 - 4
  • GCSE English Grades A* - C or 9-4
