There is an exciting opportunity for a talented Apprentice to join the New products and Contract Support team within Sulzer Ltd’s Southampton location. Once the Apprenticeship is complete and following further training and development, there will be an opportunity for the right applicant to progress and become successful within a global organisation.

Duties will include:

This position entails completing a Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship Standard and Sulzer are keen to meet with individuals who possess a real Business interest and wish to progress within a successful career route. 

With further development and succession this role could then lead onto further succession within the organisation.

Rotating Equipment Services, a division of Sulzer Ltd, is the largest independent provider of repair and maintenance services for turbomachinery, generators, motors, and pumps. Are you a strong administrator who has experience working within an office-based environment with great negotiation skills?

You will increase sales by working with the sales teams on new product sales, assist the ops manager with GP improvements by strategic sourcing of products & materials. Along with supporting large contract customer reporting requirements and supporting tender processes.

  • Managing customer accounts and contracts, including customer specific requirements
  • Negotiate with both customers and suppliers
  • Develop business opportunities with customers
  • Deliver high quality customer service
  • Provide quick response times to the customer
  • Ensure contracts' KPIs are being met in accordance with individual agreements
  • Maintain up to date market knowledge
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure on time delivery to the customer
