The Service Administrator Apprentice works within the Services team and is responsible for ensuring that all returned stock is booked in correctly, checking for accuracy in terms of quantity, description, part/model and condition, together with supporting the Fulfillment team with device testing and data wiping.

Duties will include:

The Service Administrator Apprentice will work closely with the Customer Services and Finance Departments whilst also communicating with external customers and suppliers. This is an office-based role. Duties will include:

  • Recording returns, testing and validation for mobile devices and accessories, including:
    • Booking goods In
    • Dispatching of goods
    • Testing
    • Data wiping
    • Creation of inspection/fault reports (if required)
  • Device programming based on customer requirements (high proportion will be on Apple and Android)
  • Ensuring all materials and goods are stored correctly to minimise the possibility of damage or deterioration
  • Responsible for dispatch and returns processing
  • Ensuring all information is tracked and kept up to date on the company system
  • Complying with company policies, processes and procedures
  • Supporting, coordinating and maintaining relationships with internal teams where required
  • Any other duties as required by the line manager commensurate with the position

Skills required:

  • Warehouse experience an advantage
  • Computer literate and knowledge of MS Packages
  • Good communication skills are essential (both verbal and written)
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience within a telecommunications environment (desirable)
  • Good telephone manner
  • Experience in an administration role would be advantageous
  • Adaptability and initiative
  • A positive "can-do" attitude
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines and prioritise workload
  • A self-motivated and pro-active approach
  • Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to the overall success of the team and organisation

Qualifications required:

  • A*-C / 9-4 GCSEs in maths and English desirable
