The successful candidate will learn a lot in this position to become a key member of the team.

Duties will include:

  • To support operational functions liaising with departments, customers and vendors maintaining relationships and updating database. 
  • Provide high levels of customer service to both internal and external customers
  • Advise delivery schedules to clients within departmental KPI’s.
  • Maintain the Company database through accurate data input.
  • Progress delivery with vendors to obtain delivery confirmation through telephone and email communication within 48hrs or order placement
  • Advise clients of our planned deliveries through telephone and email communication.
  • Utilize our databases to place purchase orders in line with project manager requests.
  • Switchboard duties to manage incoming calls to the department.
  • Work with the team and Operations management to improve the operational systems, processes and policies in support of organizational goals to maximize effective, efficient, profitable output
  • Maintain the companies Health and Safety policy’s

  • VES is based at Eagle Close in Chandlers Ford, there is some car parking at this facility

Qualifications required:

  • GCSE Grade 4/5 or above (C) or equivalents in Maths and English
  • IT knowledge would be beneficial as would an understanding of science


  • 20 Day holiday plus 8 statutory Bank Holiday days
  • Free on site parking
  • Overtime sometimes available

Future Prospects:

  • There are progression routes within this company for the right applicant, this could mean a permanent position on successful completion of the apprenticeship or further training/learning opportunities
