Voltech Property Group are seeking an eager to learn and enthusiastic sales support and business admin apprentice. You’ll become an integral part of the office team, assisting in the smooth running of the Voltech Property Group. To begin your career at a fantastic company, APPLY NOW!

Voltech Property Group has two businesses that sit underneath the Group: By the Fire which is a retail outlet selling fireplaces based in Westbourne and Voltech Electrical which undertake domestic, commercial and maintenance roles within Dorset. Both businesses have been trading for a number of years and Danny plans for the businesses to grow. He would like someone to join him on the journey and to grow with the business.

Duties will include:

  • Processing invoices – payable and receivable
  • Bank reconciliation
  • General office duties such as dealing with correspondence both email and letters
  • Filing and data entry
  • Use of Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Use of Xero to produce documents such as invoices to be sent to customers by both email and post
  • Dealing with queries from customers and internal employees
  • Answering the telephone and communicating effectively with customers and employees
  • Answering the telephone in a professional manner within 5 rings and greeting the caller with a professional greeting depending on the business
  • Taking details of the customer and either handing over the sales team to manage or taking details and informing the customer someone will make contact with them to deal with their enquiry
  • Responding to emails in a professional manner and using email etiquette
  • Updating CRM and ensuring all data is correct
  • Contacting customers after the job has been completed to ensure everything is great and undertake a Customer Service Survey
  • Creating sales orders, process orders, and ensuring smooth on time delivery for all sales
  • Liaising and working closely with Sub Contractors and ensuring their queries are answered and managed
  • Handling inbound calls and diverting where necessary
  • Responding to emails in a timely manner

Skills required:

  • Excellent organisational and customer care skills
  • Excellent social and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Be able to demonstrate your ability to work as part of a team, but also work on your own to deal with day to day tasks and help push the company forward
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel are essential
  • Attention to detail
  • Good communication skills – both written and oral
  • Polite telephone manner
  • Organised

Qualifications required:

  • GCSE Maths Grades A* - C or 9 - 4
  • GCSE English Grades A* - C or 9-4


  • 20 days paid holiday and 8 statutory days holiday
