Assisting the Factory Production Manager in achieving On-Time-In-Full output from the factory by processing documents relating to internal and external stakeholders in a timely fashion. Ensuring records are kept up to date and supplier logistics are managed inbound and outbound. Communicating with the Project Managers on a daily basis to meet customer programme dates and assisting with monthly stock take process.

With our extensive technical expertise and experience in this complex industry we deal directly with building contractors, architects and consultants to offer design recommendations and value engineered solutions from initial enquiry through to full installation.

Duties will include:

  • To understand OTIF, measure and manage and strive to improve delivery times to meet customer programme
  • To check factory route cards are completed and up to date
  • To track jobs from the route card and record on daily planner  
  • Use in house IT system to check job details where required
  • Raise purchase orders on system for stock and logistics as requested by the Factory Production Manager
  • Be an advocate for customer service and relationship management
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach to your workload
  • To maintain a skills matrix for the factory staff
  • Support the Factory Production Manager with the monthly stock take and work in progress report
  • Liaise with suppliers to chase deliveries and collections

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Ensure daily tasks for the given day are completed with all the available information updates as required
  • Tracking orders through the factory and clear and accurate
  • Skills matrix complete and up to date
  • Accurate stock take and WIP completed on time

Qualification required:

  • 5 GCSE’s or equivalent at grade A*-C (Grade 4 to 9) including English and Maths
