IT Support Engineer / Technician Apprentice, Computer configuration and repairs, Problem solving, Software support, Networking, Broadband, VoIP, IP Telephones, Windows and Mac operating systems, Microsoft software products, Web Design. A driving license will be an advantage but not essential.

Carrera UK is an IT support company that provides support to small and medium sized business’s mainly in the South covering a wide range of IT Services including Server based networks, Workstations, Laptops, Cloud Services, Web and Internet based projects.

Duties will include:

Due to continued growth and expansion we have a vacancy for an Apprentice with a primary role in IT Support but also must be prepared to take part in IT, Telecoms and Connectivity related services.

We are looking for a person who has a true interest in IT and technology and is keen to develop problem solving and customer service skills with the support from likeminded colleagues who have taken a similar path.

Other information:

Within the 18 months of this Apprenticeship you will complete:

  • Infrastructure Technician Standard Level 3

Skills required:

Ideally you will have an understanding of confidentially and safeguarding, Previous helpdesk experience, Microsoft Dynamics AX, TFS and SharePoint experience – Please note this is not essential.

Qualifications required:

  • 4 GCSE’s at grade D/3 or higher including Maths and English
