As a Digital Marketing/Videographer Apprentice for Tekkers IT Solutions, you will be working closely with the Managing Director to produce high quality video and graphic content to be used for digital marketing. Our videos are beginning to have a dramatic impact on our business, so we are looking for someone to take us that step further, someone who is quick and willing to learn to help produce the best content we can.

Duties will include:

  • Work as an individual and with our Marketing Team to produce content on a daily basis.
  • Setup, operate, pack down and generally take care of a wide range of video, audio and photography equipment.
  • Work closely with our managing director to produce a daily vlog
  • Learn to ask questions along the way to capture the natural responses to content that our audience would find valuable.
  • Manage and grow our social media channels, primarily YouTube, LinkedIn and Instagram.
  • Come up with ideas and suggestions for future content. Keeping in mind how best to maximise visibility on social media platforms. Up and coming trending content, algorithm changes etc.
  • Produce high quality graphics for social media and video thumbnails
  • Communicate with a range of audiences and digital platforms
  • Analyses and contributes information on the digital environment
  • Reviews, monitors and analyses online activity
  • Applies structured techniques to problem solving
  • Builds and implements digital campaigns
  • Use digital tools effectively
  • Security to protect data across digital and social media platforms

Skills required:

  • Excellent social and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Be able to demonstrate your ability to work as part of a team, but also work on your own to deal with day-to-day tasks and help push the company forward
  • Excellent understanding of camera settings for both photo and video, of audio equipment related to videography and lighting equipment.
  • Keen interest in vlogging and a regular watcher of vlog style YouTube channels
  • Knowledge of Adobe products, Premiere Pro, Lightroom, After Effects and Photoshop.

Qualifications required:

  • GCSE Maths Grades A – C or 4 - 9
  • GCSE English Grades A – C or 4 - 9

Future Prospects:

Future prospects are excellent as this is a new role and will grow as the business grows. The idea is to use video as the primary way to grow our business throughout 2020 and onwards, so the right person will work very closely with me and get involved in all areas of the business at all levels, as this is the information we will be sharing with our audiences across social media through well shot and edited videos
