"Be adaptable and face each day with a positive outlook."

What led you to work for PETA?

I began my working career on a Youth Training Programme where I achieved Business Administration, Customer Service, and IT NVQ’s.  Since then I have had a career within the training sector working for various training providers and The Skills Funding Agency which eventually lead me to PETA.

What is your role at PETA and what drives you to do what you do?

I am an administrator at the Havant Engineering Centre.  My role is primarily dealing with the centre administration including the reporting of learner attendance and the purchase order process.  Having started out on a training programme myself I appreciate the benefits and value that Apprenticeships bring to both learners and employers.

What knowledge/experience do you draw upon for your role?

I draw upon my administrative and customer service skills, qualifications, and vast experience I have acquired over many years to help me in my day to day role.

How do you approach your role on a day-to-day basis? What skills are required?

Each day at the training centre can be different, bringing a variety of challenges and opportunities. I have learnt to be adaptable and face each day with a positive outlook.

What are you passionate about outside of work?

I am very passionate about natural health and holistic healing methods

What are your personal values, and what is important to you?

Fairness, honesty, and truth
