What led you to work for PETA?

I have previously worked in recruitment and apprenticeship roles, which gave me valuable insight into supporting people at the start of their careers. I was drawn to PETA because it offered an opportunity to combine my experience with my interest in engineering apprenticeships, helping people access meaningful learning and career development opportunities.

What is your role at PETA and what drives you to what you do?

I work in apprenticeship recruitment for engineering roles. I am driven by supporting people to find opportunities where they can grow, learn new skills, and build a career in engineering. I also enjoy learning about engineering myself and keeping up-to-date with the industry, which makes my role both rewarding and inspiring.

What knowledge and experience do you draw upon for your role?

I draw upon my knowledge of apprenticeship funding and the benefits that apprenticeships can provide to both individuals and employers. My experience in recruitment helps me match candidates with the right opportunities and guide them through the process.

How do you approach your role on a day-to-day basis? What skills are required?

On a day-to-day basis, I focus on providing excellent customer service, ensuring that both candidates and employers have a positive experience. Key skills include communication, organisation, problem-solving, and being approachable and supportive throughout the recruitment process.

What are you passionate about outside of work?

Outside of work, I am enjoy spending time with friends and family.

To treat others with respect and empathy and supporting people in a positive and approachable way, both personally and professionally.
