Rebecca Broad

Business and Management Training Consultant

I love working with people to understand their key areas of focus and objectives and finding ways in which we can support them.

What lead you to work for PETA?

I have worked in a multitude of different industries over the years, from hospitality, travel, IT and now Learning and development. I have been with PETA now for just over 5 years as a training consultant. I love working with people and organisations to understand their key areas of focus and business or personal objectives.

What is your role at PETA and what drives you to do what you do?

My role at PETA is a Sales Account Manager and some of the key parts of my role are:

  • Client relationship management
  • Customer service and engagement
  • Creating bespoke training plans and apprenticeship programmes
  • Understanding my clients' L&D strategies and helping them build tailored training packages

What knowledge/experience do you draw upon for your role?

Prior to working at PETA, I spent my time in various organisations within their L&D departments. I have also completed my CIPD Level 3 Diploma in Learning and Development and draw on that experience to help guide my clients in the right direction.

How do you approach your role on a day-to-day basis? What skills are required?

In this role, the most important thing is being approachable, reliable, honest and trustworthy. Training can be a highly personal accomplishment for an individual and I want my clients to feel that they can discuss their requirements in confidence with me.

What are you passionate about outside of work?

Outside of work, I have a huge love for musical theatre and am somewhat of a thespian myself!

What are your personal values, and what is important to you?

My values revolve around honesty and trust. And my family and friends are my whole world.
