Article summary: We’re hosting Apprenticeship Open Days on Saturday 30 October and Saturday 27 November to offer insights into what an apprenticeship could offer individuals looking for great career opportunities.
Apprenticeships are a great way to receive extensive, on the job training in a role you’re interested in, whilst also getting paid a salary too! It could provide your first step on the career ladder or give you the opportunity to embark on a fresh career change if your current role is not right for you.
Apprenticeships are also a great alternative to university - you’ll still gain a range of qualifications as well loads of hands-on experience, without the huge student debts or financial outlay.
Most apprentices stay on with their employer long after completion of their apprenticeship and often have the opportunity to progress within the organisation, sometimes quite swiftly. Apprenticeship partnerships are strong as the employer has invested time in the apprentice which instills a sense of belonging and loyalty in the apprentice, which is a great foundation.
