New lift trucks arriving this week!

Article summary: Our two brand new lift trucks are arriving on-site this week! The Mitsubishi FB16ANT (Counterbalance) and the Mitsubishi RB14N2L (Reach) will be in operation for training delivery, ensuring we provide the best experience on up-to-date equipment.

As an elite training provider, it is essential that we are providing access to the equipment that today’s operators are using in the workplace, ensuring the skills learnt at our centre are relevant and readily transferable to work situations.

At PETA, we’re well-known for delivering quality lift truck and mechanical handling training in the southern region. We offer lift truck and counterbalance training from Novice level right up to Instructor level, and this new equipment will ensure that we are able to continue to do so to the highest standards.

Leasing this new equipment is a great example of how, as a not-for-profit organisation, we are working to provide our customers with the very best training possible. We do this by ensuring that any surplus we earn is used to update our equipment and facilities. By partnering with industry trusted brands such as Mitsubishi, we can ensure our trucks are part of a thorough servicing and maintenance programme, giving customers the reassurance that our trucks are well-maintained and remain in tip top condition.

We’ve partnered with Alto Handling to source and maintain these vehicles. Alto has a solid commitment to encouraging their customers to get the quality operator training hence their interest in forming this collaborative approach to the supply of top of the range equipment, backed up with superb training.

This investment will ensure that our delegates continue to receive training that is relevant and as close to a real-life scenario as possible, resulting in high pass rates of the required operator practical and theory tests (our current pass rate for these courses is 100% due to the support and instruction from our qualified and experienced team).

Our suite of  lift truck and mechanical handling courses can be delivered either at clients’ premises or at our own site to suit our clients’ preferences and requirements. If you opt for the training to take place at your own premises, it will be undertaken using your own equipment and in the environment your team works in on a day-to-day basis.

Regardless of where the training takes place, the course content and the end assessments will be the same. These courses are very hands-on and practical, but there will also be a theoretical element to each course to promote full understanding and to ensure readiness for the end assessments, which vary from course to course.

Our suite of courses, which are offered on a range of dates as well as company-sponsored options, include:
