As a leading training provider, we recognise the value of ensuring health, safety and environmental management as central to setting high standards for the care of our staff, our customers and suppliers.

During the COVID-19 lockdown, the PETA Health and Safety team have used this time to invest in readying our sites for the transition from OHSAS 18001 to ISO 45001. Following our surveillance visit from BSI in July, we are proud to confirm we meet the requirements of this highly valued international standard demonstrating our business operates a ‘best practice’ Occupational Health and Safety Management System.

ISO 45001 offers a framework that promotes efficiency, increases the trust of our customers and people in our commitment to them, and challenges us to continually improve our practice. It is a proud achievement for the PETA team and enables us to offer guidance and support to our customers who are embarking on their own journey of developing and improving their own health, safety and environmental management systems.
