Helping you find innovative ways to move your business forward

The pandemic has created so many unexpected challenges for us all on an individual and business level.

If we are going to face the new challenges presented to us daily, we must find innovative ways of moving forward and eventually kickstarting recruitment programmes again.

We’ve found a way to help your business do this with the new Government Kickstart Scheme.

In short, the Kickstart Scheme provides funding to you as an employer to create new 6-month job placements for young people (Age 16 – 24) who are currently at risk of long-term unemployment.

Starting in November, government funding will be available to companies to cover:

  • 100% of the relevant National Minimum Wage for 25 hours per week
  • The associated employer National Insurance Contributions
  • Employer minimum Automatic Enrolment contributions
  • Up to £1,500 per job placement for setup costs, support and training

Working in partnership with Hampshire Chamber of Commerce, PETA will be offering dedicated training courses to participants in the Kickstart Scheme. These training courses are designed to upskill job placement employees with key functional skills and specialist knowledge to prepare them for the world of work.

There will also be an opportunity for placement employees to move onto a full apprenticeship programme, which opens other funding opportunities for you as the employer.
