What led you to start your apprenticeship?
My college course was in media and digital communications so it seemed like the right next step following the completion of that course.
Please tell us your current job title and what a typical day for you would involve?
Digital Marketing Executive.
My day-to-day tasks involve engaging on both personal and company social media accounts, creating and running email and social media campaigns and developing Zinq IT's website (among other tasks).

I have found the apprenticeship very insightful and practical in the field I am in, providing me with relevant knowledge to help me in my job role.
What do you enjoy most about doing an apprenticeship?
I enjoy the balance of learning and also real-world experience it provides me with, along with the flexibility of the course.
Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?
I see myself still working in digital marketing, most likely in a more graphic design-based role, and potentially in web development.
What advice would you give to someone considering an apprenticeship?
I fully endorse apprenticeships as they provide great opportunities to learn in a field that you are interested in along with gaining experience and qualifications, further progressing your career.
How has an apprenticeship helped you progress within your role and company?
My apprenticeship has helped me progress in my role as it has given me a base level of marketing knowledge which allows me to excel in aspects of my job role, producing higher level work.
