University was not for me
What made you choose an apprenticeship?
I chose an apprenticeship because I wanted to learn on the job and gain new skills and experiences. University was not for me.
Where did you go to school/ college?
Brune Park Community School and St.Vincent College
Where would you like to go next in your career?
Using my experiences and skills that I have learnt I would like to continue being a business administrator.
What was your favourite thing about being an apprentice?
My favourite thing is learning new skills which will help me through my life.
What’s the best bit of the job/ what do you feel proud of and why?
The best part about the job is when you solve a problem that has gone wrong and then by solving the problem you then learn from it so that it is not repeated again.
Would you recommend apprenticeships and if so why?
I would recommend apprenticeships because you get to learn a trade and new skills that will help you in your future. Employers are a lot more likely to hire someone with past experience so having that experience form your apprenticeship will put you in good stead.
What is your greatest achievement?
My greatest achievement in the apprenticeship was when I was able to complete tasks on my own in the system without any assistance because the system can be a bit complicated when you first use it.

An apprenticeship is the best way of gaining knowledge and experience while working in a job; it helps you to gain confidence in yourself and your abilities. Go for it!« All News Articles
