What to expect when you apply for an apprenticeship
Step 1: Apply
Check out our current apprenticeship job vacancies in Engineering, IT and Business with leading employers across Hampshire, Dorset and the Isle of Wight.
Once we receive your application, we will review it and contact you with the next steps in the process.
Step 2: Pre-entry checks
We will book you in for a pre-entry interview with one of our Engagement Officers. This is to get to know you more, understand what you are interested in and to make sure you are eligible to do an Apprenticeship before we send your application to the employers.
After the interview, our Engagement Officers will send your application over to the employers for review.
Step 3: Interview
If the employer is happy to proceed, we will book you in for your interview, advising on what you should bring and how best to present yourself in a confident and professional manner.
Once the employer has come to a decision, we will provide you with feedback and let you know if you were successful in your interview for the apprenticeship vacancy.
Should your interview not result in an offer, we can support you in applying for other apprenticeship vacancies.
Step 4: Succeed
Congratulations – you’ve made it! At this stage, we will formally write to you to confirm your apprenticeship and arrange a suitable start date between you and the employer.
You will also meet your PETA Assessor, who will be by your side throughout your apprenticeship to provide guidance and assess your progress towards completion.
