Course overview
Our breakfast briefings offer those responsible for Health and Safety in the workplace, an opportunity to keep up to date with emerging trends and gain an insight to current and future legislation impacting safety, health and the environment within the business. In this session, our Senior Lift Truck Instructor, Paul Siszcuk, will address the questions that are often misinterpreted regarding the use and management of mechanical handling equipment.
This talk, taking a practical and holistic approach, covers the legislative requirements and gives an opportunity to complete a pre-use check.

Course benefits
In relation to Mechanical Handling Equipment, a frequently asked question is ‘when do I need to renew my certificate/training?’ Along with many other questions relating to LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulation), PUWER (Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulation) and L117 ‘Rider operated Lift Trucks’, such as ‘Instructor Selection’. Our interactive and dynamic breakfast session will cover, in basic terms, what the requirements are, and how you can meet these requirements alongside the day-to-day challenges that your organisation may be facing.
